The grandeur of The Peninsula Hong Kong was the perfect setting for this Victorian inspired wedding and truly reflected this beautiful couple. We were involved in most aspects of their planning, from the invitation design to securing the right team of vendors. On the day, our coordinators were on hand to ensure everything was properly executed.
The day started off with the traditional games and tea ceremonies followed by an ‘outdoor’ ceremony and lunch for fifty of the couple’s closest friends and family at the Garden Suite.
The celebration continued at the dinner reception in the Salisbury Room with touching speeches, a ‘same day edit’ of the morning’s festivities and a mouth-watering candy table to cap off the evening.
Here at The Wedding Company, we have seen all kinds of weddings and we were thrilled with the sheer prettiness of the flowers and décor, thanks to the stellar effort from Ellermann Design.
Traditional Chinese believe that the first hundred days of a baby’s life is when he/she is most vulnerable, thus staying indoors to avoid illness and the harsh elements of the outside world. Once a baby reaches 100 days, it is a cause for celebration and this was no exception.
We had the pleasure of planning an intimate dinner for a very special little boy. A fairytale theme complete with an oversized personalised fairytale book and a foliage wall created a perfect setting for this happy family. Tables were set with oversized bell jars lit with fairy lights and surround by a garden of flowers on custom made dark green tablecloths highlighted with delicate calligraphy menus. A decadent candy table, photo booth and a sleight of hand magician capped off a magical evening.
We take pride in ensuring that all of our clients achieve their perfect wedding, and a recent celebration we held for a lovely couple at The Ritz Carlton Hong Kong was no exception! The couple wanted to evoke an ethereal and dreamy ambience, so we worked closely with our dedicated vendors to create an elegant ‘pale pink and white’ themed reception.
The celebrations kicked off with a cocktail reception in the Foyer, complete with sheer drapery, rose-tinted lighting and dozens of candles lining the marble floors. An “invisible” candy table boasting an array of sweet treats delighted guests.
Tables were ornamented with dreamy arrangements of baby’s breath and number plaques specially hand-painted by a talented calligrapher.
A spectacular 6-tiered cake adorned with pink roses and hand-spun sugar details stood majestically on the stage.
Guests also sipped on specialty wines and enjoyed the sounds of a live band as they danced the night away. Hats off to The Ritz-Carlton for yet another wonderful event!

We put together a chic garden-inspired wedding celebration on one of the coldest days of the year, working closely with our team to ensure every detail was well executed. This excited couple and their families had very specific ideas for their big day, and we made it our priority to bring their visions to life.
The Pool House at The Grand Hyatt in Hong Kong was the perfect setting for a elegant afternoon ceremony for close friends and family. Guests entered the Pool House through a slate grey marble walkway, decorated in shades of fresh coral, peach and cream.

The bride and groom exchanged their heartfelt vows under an floral arch filled with delicate blush pink and white florals. We loved the contrast of the tropical green trees outside against the warmly lit room.
In the evening, over 600 guests returned for a glittering dinner banquet. Luxuriously red tablescapes complete with floating candles and vases of fresh tulips, garden roses and burgundy peonies set the tone for a traditional yet luxurious evening under the hotel’s iconic glittering chandelier.
Over 600 guests from Hong Kong, Taiwan and China gathered at one of our favourite wedding venues, the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in January to celebrate the wedding of this lovely couple who approached us to plan their wedding with a shorter than usual lead time. A red and gold themed wedding invitation suite set the tone for a traditional yet luxurious affair.
On the wedding day, the couple enjoyed a relaxed photography session with their chosen photographer, Susan from Johnny Productions followed by a cocktail reception and a traditional ‘March In to a lavish sit-down banquet. A dramatic entrance lined with red orchid trees ushered guests towards a stunning photo backdrop of velvet roses created by Wedding Garden. Lavish arrangements, flickering red votive candles and contemporary yet elegant lanterns in traditional reds and golds on the round tables created a festive atmosphere for this happy couple and their friends and family. Cake cutting, a champagne toast and a welcome speech by the couple kicked off an evening filled with live music, love and a lot of happiness.
