We recently met up with the girls at Jo Malone, one of our favourite brands. We love Jo Malone for their wide selection, contemporary brand image and of course, for their crisp and long-lasting scents.
As its becoming increasingly popular to have a signature scent to add that finishing touch, we work closely with the brand to style and scent not you but your wedding reception! Whether its a well-placed candle at the reception or various layers of scents, it works on a sub-conscious level to appeal to the senses and adds a luxurious personal stamp so long as you don’t over-do it. That’s where the personal Jo Malone stylist comes in!
Jo Malone has a selection of indulgent wedding favours too.. which guest wouldn’t want to take home a travel candle or a small bottle of luxurious bath oil?

We have been flat out this season working on some very beautiful weddings (if we may say so ourselves!). Not only do we guide the couple on every aspect of the planning process, we work equally closely with our trusted team of florists and production staff to art direct the myriad of details to ensure a beautiful setup and smooth execution on the day. From the way the floral centerpieces are lit to the position of the band and calligraphy placecards, no detail is overlooked.
Here are some images from a recent wedding banquet held at the Four Seasons ballroom in Hong Kong. The forward-thinking couple and their parents embraced a striking red and black setting for their banquet. After several mock ups of the actual table and adjustments made to the overall floral centerpieces by Gary K, we were finally satisfied with the end result which turned out even better than we had imagined.
Wishing you and yours a truly happy Christmas from all of us at The Wedding Company.

Having opened an office in Jakarta this year, Preston Bailey is taking over Asia’s luxury wedding market, one floral masterpiece at a time. For this wedding he designed in Bali, he uses a palette of reds, pinks and violets and floralizes (what a great word!) the bride and groom’s favourite animals to flank the entrance. The different texture and striking patterns on the mood board adds the right depth and character and we especially love the red floral wall and the monogram decal on the glass doors!

We’ve always loved reds and purples mixed together, its a bold combination and no one does it better than Mr. Preston Bailey!
With Christmas just around the corner, we find ourselves all bundled up as the temperature in Hong Kong dips below 10 degrees. Trolling through the Web, a cup of eggnog latte in hand, we found a few of our favourite things this holiday season.
